Youth at Rock of Ages

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." ~ Jesus - Mark 10:13-15

Youth are a big deal at Rock of Ages. As we see Jesus speak above, he became angry at those who thought their position in his kingdom was of any more worth than a child - for it belongs to them. Children accept the love and gifts given them as they come. They may not fully fathom why they are given these things, nor have they likely done everything they should have done to earn them - they simply receive. This is precisely how we must learn to understand accepting Jesus, coming to us not do to anything we have done.
